Find Grounding Balance with Tree Agate

TREE AGATE IS GENTLY GROUNDING AND INVOKES THE WISDOM OF TREES

When Spring is in the air, my attention turns to the trees.  The elements combine with lots of rain bringing the greenery back to life.  Birds settle into the trees to make their homes, and pollen settles literally everywhere.

Tree agate is a lesser known type of agate.  The beautiful green tendrils running through the white stone simply enchant me.  Like with most of my favorite crystals, I bought a piece and THEN looked up the meaning.  Which, of course, was exactly what I needed at the time.

TREE WISDOM

As an energy healer, I draw a lot on the wisdom of the trees.  They grow tall by rooting deep into the earth.  They bend in the wind so they don't break or snap.  They take in nutrients that we consider waste products, and give off oxygen - a perfect example of releasing your old energies because you don't know who can recycle them.

GROUNDING

Trees are beautifully grounding.  We often think of hugging a tree as synonymous with connecting to nature.  A walk in the woods surrounded by trees can be healing on so many levels.

BALANCING

Because trees grow down into the earth and reach up to the sky, they are perfect symbols of balance.  Roots sprawling in a mirror image of branches.  We also use tree pose in yoga as a standing balancing pose, so it brings our physical bodies into reminders of balance.
