He encourages self-care and embodies this in his own practices of self-care through daily meditation, committed yoga practice and holistic healing modalities. He has practiced Transcendental Meditation daily for the past three years which is scientifically proven to reduce stress, improve physiological functioning and increase brain coherence (learn more at www.TM.org) which has significantly helped him cope with his own personal struggles with anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress. He serves his communities by providing knowledge and resources that empower people to reclaim their sovereignty to support their health through conscious living. Inspired by the teachings of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, he resonates with the idea that individual peace is the unit of world peace and so by cultivating inner peace at the individual level we can contribute to a more peaceful society.
