Community is More Than a Building

I’m saddened to share that Heart Mind Healing’s physical location will close in May, 2025.

My heart is full as I reminisce with gratitude and feel deep grief.  It was an honor to have the opportunity to hold this space over the last 3 years, and I have learned so much while being of service to our community.  I have done my best to keep the spirit of Yoga and Reiki (and their respective principles) at the core of everything I’ve done.  Part of that means being honest with my capacity and acknowledging when it is time for change.

No one factor has resulted in closing this space; many established businesses have been unable to compete in the current climate.  I invested everything I had, both financially and energetically.  Unfortunately, the numbers and hours are not where they need to be to continue.

What does this mean for you?

  • April 2025 will be the last month for regular weekly classes & sessions

  • In May 2025, we will have a few final special events/workshops

  • As we get closer to our final days, we will begin to mark down our retail inventory.  (We will NOT be restocking inventory, so if there’s a specific piece you’ve had your eye on, consider getting it sooner).

How can you help/support?

  • Show compassion and kindness to Caitlyn and our staff/facilitators.  This is a time of big change for all of us.  We are closed this upcoming week for spring break, and Caitlyn will not be checking her phone for the next couple of days, so please be patient regarding response times.

  • Purchasing from our retail section (especially before we begin marking down items, because closing a business is expensive)

  • If you are able, consider making a love donation to help with closing costs - https://square.link/u/nr7ZYOGI

  • Attend our final classes and enjoy so we can carry happy memories of our community forward! - heartmindgnv.com/booknow

What’s next?

  • Not sure!  I will need to dive into my own healing and rebalance after this huge shift.

  • Meditation, Yoga, and Energy Healing will continue to be a huge part of my life, as they have been my main supports for nearly a decade. This work will certainly not stop even though the physical location is closing.

Warmly,

Caitlyn
